Matt and I were married on Nov. 19, 2016 after eight years of dating.
Matt played baseball at Belmont University in Nashville and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in business. He was drafted in the 2015 MLB Draft by the Los Angeles Dodgers.
I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in journalism and new media from Lipscomb University. I was formerly the reporter then managing editor for two South Texas newspapers. Now I do some freelance work, run this blog and work in retail while I travel with Matt.
After only seeing each other eight days over eight months in 2016, we decided I would travel with Matt and our pup, Grainger! This blog is a place to share my sports journalism journey, sports thoughts, life thoughts and Matt's baseball journey! Enjoy!
